This month has been wild hasn’t it? Pluto in Capricorn brought up a lot of shit with regard to the manipulation of power both in money and sex. The Paradise Papers were leaked, exposing US government officials and massive American companies (FB, Twitter, Apple, Nike) who are hoarding billions of our money over seas so they don’t have to help pay for public schools, infrastructure and other public services. Harvey Weinstein and his sexual predator (Scorpio) crew were exposed for trying manipulating people into having sex with them by hovering their ‘power’ (Pluto) over the heads of women and men wanting to do good for themselves. Jupiter had a lot to do with the exposure of this information. Jupiter, the planet who rules publications and expansion of knowledge had moved into Scorpio on October 10th, which was when the first report of Harvey Weinstein came out on NBC news.
Isn’t Scorpio season so juicy? So much scandal comes out of the woodwork and it feels like a big victory for us femmes, but now what do we do with all of this information? I know some of you have been triggered by this due to the collective having so much invested energy into sexual harassment and for that I want you to know that you are not alone. Every 98 seconds someone in America is sexually harassed. And it is a major problem within the entire world. Scorpio season is the time when femmes can utilize our psychic powers to balance the inequality between the sexes.
This is one of the most powerful New Moon’s to regain psychic strength, pull back your energy into yourself and cleanse the chords that connect you to the past. By forgiving those that have trespassed you, you clear away the old karmic wound in order to start anew. When you forgive someone for their implementation of ill will onto your sovereignty you are allowing yourself to move forward and reclaim your personal power. Jesus said a lot of things, but most famously said: “Forgive them, for they know not what they do” when the mouth breathers were hanging him on the cardinal cross. Personally, I’m not one to worship christian gods but this story of Jesus having compassion and empathy for those who were killing him feels so right for this Scorpio moon. And if Jesus can forgive those who were so extremely unaware of self, so can you.
Scorpio is a sexual sign of course and can show us how to use the divine feminine sexual energy within us all. This often times comes out as psychic intuition but psychic intuition can become blocked if there is fear, anger or resentment lingering in your energy body. Every new moon holds the energy pattern of release. Aries new moon allows us to release broken images of our ego. Cancer new moon helps us to release family trauma from the past. The Scorpio new moon allows for us to release built up resentment. Just reading about Harvey Weinstein and the Paradise Papers may have nudged that resentment bone in your body, creating within you an energy pattern of anger over the misuse of power. For that I am sorry but maybe now you have become aware of what that feeling is, however subtle it may have been. See how easy it is to build up resentment?
Scorpio’s resentment is stored within the sexual organs. Over time when we don’t release these negative energy patterns we become physically ill. Our thoughts have power. It only does you good and the people around you to release any Scorpionic negativity that you have built up within yourself over the years. You will feel a greater sense of clarity and heightened psychic connection to the people close to you. The next season we will be moving into is Sagittarius. When we graduate from Scorpio into Sagittarius we are able to trust that what we are feeling intuitively is clearly being channeled from our higher selves. Sagittarius brings with it the power of Jupiter (who is currently in Scorpio). Jupiter bestows on us greater knowledge of ourselves and allows us to believe in who we are. One of Scorpio’s biggest lessons to learn in this life is how to trust oneself in order to be able to trust others. Because the next giant leap forward in the karmic wheel is being able to believe in something greater than self (Sagittarius).
